A national petition calling on the UK Government to extend free bus travel to everyone over 60 in England (outside of London) is gaining strong support.
Launched by campaigner Karen Hickman, the petition urges Parliament to consider equal travel rights for older adults across all of England. Currently, full free bus travel will remain available in Scotland and Wales, while only select areas in England continue to offer the service.
Karen hopes the petition will lead to a fairer system for all over-60s in England, no matter where they live.
